No Reccy does not store or transmit any of your information. The only way information is transmitted from your contacts is when you choose to email or text a contact to another person.

No Reccy only links to your contacts. Reccy does create some custom fields within your contacts in order to store information such as LinkedIn URL, Flyer URL, etc. If you uninstall Reccy that information will remain on your phone within each contact. That information is innocuous.

Yes, your information is only linked to by Recce. All contact information is stored in your devices contacts. You will have to reselect your contacts that you wish to have linked in Reccy, but the content within your contacts will be the same.

Your iPhone should have stored your contacts and imported them into your new phone. All that you need to do is link the contacts to Reccy once more and you will be ready to roll.

Issues with Import

Using the Contact app on your device, share the contact via an email to support@reccy.me. This information will only be used to resolve the issue.

Steps

  1. Select the contact within your Contacts app
  2. Select the ‘Share Contact’ button (usually near the bottom of the contact information found by scrolling down)
  3. Select to share using one of your email accounts
  4. Send to support@reccy.me
